Kay loved signing books at the 2006 Tinicum Arts Festival. It was such fun to see many people from the Palisades School District where Kay used to teach. Books were provided by Esther Tews from the Book Garden in Frenchtown. It was a perfect day in a lovely setting. |
| Pat Brisson, an award-winning author, and Kay recently presented their program, So You Want to Write a Children's Book, to teachers and librarians at the Bloomsburg Reading Conference, and at a Children's Literature Course at King's College in Wilkes-Barre. Crammed full of specific strategies, trade secrets, and timely tips, Kay and Pat shared their journey from wannabe's to published authors. They will be presenting a similar program in October at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Doylestown, and the New Jersey School Library Association in Long Branch. |
