The Teeny Tiny Ghost Illustrated by Lynn Munsinger HarperCollins, 1997 Harper Trophy Edition Cover Copyright © by Lynn Munsinger, 1997
The Teeny Tiny Ghost is the tale of a little ghost who is so timid he scares himself, and how he overcomes his fear. A funny gentle Halloween story full of sound effects that demands to be read again and again. (3-8) Author’s comment: One day in October when Halloween was just around the corner, I came down the stairs and stopped at the landing. The furniture in the doll house was scrambled every which way. I began to think.... maybe a teeny tiny ghost lived in that doll house and he was making himself comfortable. And so my character was born. As for him being so timid, he told me that himself, and since then he has worked hard to overcome his fears.
